They comprise a mix of different personalities, functional experience and expertise, cultural backgrounds, thinking styles and power dynamics. This diversity can be a source of synergy and collaboration, or a source of silos, conflict and competition. Open and trusting relationships between team members are the foundation for team effectiveness and growth. Coaching for teams encourages collective dialogue and reflection to help clarify purpose and strategy, and to promote team energy and collegiality.
